National Day of Remembrance

Remembering Heroes

For the past five years, Congress has enacted a National Day of Remembrance on October 30th which honors  nuclear weapons workers and uranium miners who proudly served their country from the Manhattan Project through present day. On September 18th, 2013 , the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution to designate October 30 as the fifth annual NDR.
