This is my first post here,if its in the wrong place i'm sorry.

I am 46,my Father drilled holes and dropped bombs at Mercury (nevada) for 22 years,he wore a badge that showed when he was radiated.

I have holes in my spine and lower brain, the Doctor here says the closest diagnosis he can come up with is multiple sclerosis.

I can barely walk, think, or coordinate.

My family says he held me as a baby while radiated.

My family is Smith/Jones, huge, yet I am the only one who has ever had anything like this,so heredity does not come into it.

This is not common,I have never heard of anyone else with a similair problem.

Can anyone help me and my family? I was a contibuting member of society, had a trade, now I can do nothing after 25 years in my job.

I have talked to DOE,and other agencies, they all say that family members are not counted in anything,I mean this is not my fault.

You need to find you an attorney that will file a Price-Anderson Act claim against the DOE and the facility that your father worked in this case, Nevada. The attorney or you can also file a claim under the Radiation Exposure Commpensation Act ran by the Department of Justice, (Attorney General)
You need to find out if you can file a claim under the EEOICP as a survivor claimant.

The CDC was required by the worker family protection act to do studies of the workers families on second hand exposure health issues. THEY FOUND OUT YES,several toxic substances will expose the family to the same toxic substancesa that the employee used at work and brought home on his clothes, shoes, inside the car, etc.
