Cold War Patriots will be hosting a Resource Fair Friday September 23rd from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm the New Hope Center, 602 Scarboro Road Oak Ridge, TN. Below is a detailed announcement of features and exhibitors at the fair.

Cold War Patriots would like to invite you and your family to come visit us at this year’s Senior Life Show at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick, WA on June 18th, 2010 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
The Senior Life Show will be featuring a special section for former Hanford workers, their families and friends. The “Cold War Patriots Hanford Resource Section” will contain resources specifically for former Hanford Workers including:
There will be special drawings for former Hanford workers, giveaways, features and information. Also, please view the other enclosures to learn about the Cold War Patriot “National Day of Remembrance” time capsule and how you or a loved one’s legacy as worker can be preserved.

The third annual Rocky Flats Picnic will be held Saturday, June 12th at 1:00 pm.
Come to the Westminster Elks Club Picnic Pavilion at 380 Elk Drive, Westminster, CO 80030.
Please bring a side dish to share. Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Tea, Lemonade, and Beer will be provided. $5 per person donation to cover costs. Please RSVP if possible. Cold War Patriots will be there offering free membership to those who are interested.

Meeting times are at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm. The same information will be shared at both meetings.
At each meeting, staff from the DOL will provide a brief overview of the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program (EEOICP) and the medical screening programs. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and the Ombudsman for the DOL will talk about their roles and responsibilities.
DOL representatives will be available to answer questions about claims and other agencies will be available for questions and resources.
