About CWP
We are a non-profit, membership organization of nuclear weapons complex workers and uranium miners who sacrificed our health in service to our country.
Over 700,000 Americans have worked from 1942 to the present day to maintain our nation’s nuclear deterrent. In the process, many of us became ill from radiation or toxic exposures. We are committed to helping our fellow workers and their families understand the benefits available to them and how to gain access to needed health care..
We will share key information, connect patients with quality health care, advocate for worker rights and support each other as we navigate the maze of the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program (EEOICPA) and the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA).
As this website gets underway, we will provide a forum to learn about benefits available, to network with other workers and related professionals and to keep up with the latest news and legislation regarding these complicated but important government programs.
